The day of glory has dawned
The past has been mourned
A year of Favour and Grace is upon you.
Arise and Shine Australia!
Discard the cloak, wipe your face
Don the garment of praise
In the world, take your place
Arise and Shine Australia!
Step into your light
Gather, unite
In joy and thanksgiving
Arise and Shine Australia!
Your time now has come
Be joyful and run,
The race I have set before you
Arise and Shine Australia!
Grace upon Grace
Stand in your place
Show my path, be my light.
Arise and Shine Australia!
This is your time
I declare you are mine
My Great South Land
Arise and Shine Australia!
My body, my bride
Stand united side by side
Together as one.
Arise and Shine Australia!
With New Zealand and Islands, you stand
My Great South Land
My spirit, my plan
Arise and Shine Australia!
From shore to shore
Like never before
My blessings and grace will fall

With power and thunder
